We Got Together with Australian Red Cross…
We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: here at TAXIBOX, we give back the space you need, so you can get on with the good stuff. This time around, we’re working with Australian Red Cross, so their team can get on with the really good, extra important stuff.
The teams at Red Cross help people experiencing hardship, crisis and disaster across Australia, with the funds they raise from good quality donations (like yours). It’s a win-win, really — you get to declutter, your good quality belongings get to live a second life, and the funds Red Cross raise in the process get put to good use. That’s a whole lot of good, don’t you think?
The thing is, Australian Red Cross haven’t been able to collect these quality clothing donations this year, due to stores being closed during COVID-19. Since our services have remained fully operational during lockdown (thanks to our contactless deliveries), TAXIBOX decided to lend a hand.
…to Make Some Space for the Life-Changing Stuff
We’re all about decluttering here at TAXIBOX, and so is Red Cross. So, we decided to join forces, giving customers an opportunity to donate their unwanted belongings to a good cause.
When you come visit your TAXIBOX at our Braeside facility in Melbourne, you can kill two birds with one stone (or three, really):
- Make some extra space in your TAXIBOX
- Offload the stuff you no longer need
- Donate to a good cause (all under one roof, at our facility)!
If you come visit your TAXIBOX and you’re having some second thoughts about the stuff you’re storing, we’ve got some good news: you can do some good while you make some space. Donate the quality belongings you no longer need to Australian Red Cross, right here at TAXIBOX. This currently applies to our Braeside facility only.
Here’s How You Can Help
We’ve got big Red Cross donation boxes living in our facility at the moment, so you can declutter your TAXIBOX right here. Keep in mind what Red Cross advise: if you wouldn’t give it to a mate, don’t donate.
Australian Red Cross is accepting any of the following, so long as it’s in good condition:
- Quality women’s, men’s and children’s clothing
- Vintage and retro clothing
- Bags
- Shoes
- Accessories
- Homewares
- Linen
- Books
- Vinyl records

If you’re checking in to visit your TAXIBOX or checking out, we can provide you with a Red Cross box, so you can declutter and donate. Just ask one of our friendly team to lend you a hand and we’ll fill you in on everything you need to know.
Once you’re decluttered and good to go, you can return the donation box to one of the team members at our facility and we’ll do the rest.
Even if you’re not a TAXIBOX customer, you’re welcome to come on down to one of our facilities and donate to Australian Red Cross with us. Let’s make some space so they can get on with the good stuff!
