Well, say goodbye to guesswork with TAXIBOX’s clever storage calculator! Our nifty Calcumate tool uses an engaging 3D visual of our storage options. Just add virtual items like mattresses or desks based on what you need to store.
All the item measurements are there, which means everything can be as easy as choosing and clicking.
How can I track my items?
You’ll never have to wonder where your TAXIBOX is while it’s on the move. Our Mobile Storage service comes with live driver tracking right on our app. We’ll even send you a heads-up text when we’re on our way to your place.
With our smart tech, you won’t have to dedicate your entire day to waiting. Get a better idea of when our drivers will arrive through real-time monitoring during delivery.
Should I get extra protection?
For that extra layer of security, you can add Protect+ to your TAXIBOX Mobile Storage plan. It’s an extra measure for your beloved belongings, covering them against disasters, storms, fire, accidental damage, theft and much more.
What items can be stored in mobile storage units?
You can put practically anything in our Mobile Storage at TAXIBOX. That includes common household items like furniture (about 1 to 1.5 rooms worth) all the way to valuables inside archive boxes (around 120 boxes).
Just keep in mind that there are generally some no-nos you can’t keep, no matter the storage company.
As a safety precaution, here’s what you can’t stash in your TAXIBOX Mobile Storage:
- Explosives or firearms and munitions
- Anything illegal, polluted, toxic or contaminated
- Flammable or hazardous stuff (including batteries)
- Expandable plastics like foam mattresses
- Living things like animals or plants
- Perishable goods, food or liquids (but we’ve got our Cool Room for this!)
Are mobile storage units weatherproof?
Absolutely! Here at TAXIBOX, our Mobile Storage is built with a super sturdy wood composite structure you can count on. Since we wrap them in a heavy-duty cover, they’re totally weatherproof and ideal for keeping your belongings safe from mould and mildew.
How are mobile storage units delivered and picked up?
It’s a simple three-step process at TAXIBOX:
- We come straight to you. Through our trusty trucks, we’ll bring your TAXIBOX right to your doorstep or wherever you’d like us to deliver.
- You place your stuff. Haste makes waste, so take your time packing and locking up your TAXIBOX. You can even give us a shout if you need a hand.
- We conveniently collect. All set? Our drivers will swing by again, pick up your TAXIBOX and then send it to our storage facility for safekeeping.
