What size of storage unit is available?
At TAXIBOX, our Mobile Storage, On-Site Storage, and Cool Storage externally measure 2.4m (L) x 2.2m (H) x 1.5m (W). As a guide, TAXIBOXES fit king size beds, fridges and couches. Each holds around 1 to 1.5 rooms of furniture. Still not sure? Order an extra one. If you don’t use it, you don’t pay for storage.
Plus, with the modular system for our Mobile Storage rental, organising is a breeze. You can dedicate a separate TAXIBOX to different items – furniture in one, archive boxes in another – you name it. Are there items I cannot store in a storage unit?
No matter if it’s TAXIBOX’s storage Adelaide-wide or in other similar cities, there are a few no-go items when it comes to stashing your stuff, including:
- illegal, toxic, contaminated, polluted items
- hazardous or flammable goods such as batteries
- expandable plastics like foam mattresses
- explosives, munitions, or firearms
- live animals or plants
- liquid, food, or other perishable goods (well, except when using our Cool Storage)
At the end of the day, just about all storage companies wouldn’t allow these items for safety reasons.
