I moved a single room + kitchen items amount of items (without any big furniture) interstate (filled about half of one box). I didn’t know where I’d be living next exactly, so having it stored in the general location (first month included in price, with option to store longer if you need) was helpful. I called them lots of times throughout with questions and they were professional and always did their best to accommodate my requests. The driver (Frank) who delivered to me went above and beyond to ensure a difficult delivery location worked out smoothly for me (there was only one 30 min loading zone available). The sense of humour in their branding (emails/packaging etc) was a fun touch amidst the stress of moving. For me it was an affordable and workable way to move such a big distance. My things were kept safe, the box was accessible when in storage and was delivered to my new place on time. Thank you!
I used TaxiBox to store belongings from a small studio apartment, which fit into a small box. I left them there for three years, and they only made a small increase to the fee once. The communication was easy, they were very polite, and the process of both storing and retrieving my items was smooth and efficient. I highly recommend them.

From booking to move completed, the entire process was smooth, convenient, staffs are friendly and easy to reach out. There are options suitable to meet requirements and expectations, is cost effective. The Taxibox was delivered to my Melbourne home and picked up after fully loaded, at the date I chose. The Taxibox was then transported to my Brisbane home. After unloading my items from the Taxibox, it gets collected on the agreed date. It’s so simple.

I couldn’t have asked for a more smooth and easy drop off. I live on a one way street in Frank handled it with ease and efficiency. All of this with an incredibly friendly and helpful manner. He is an asset employee to Taxi Box!

Frank is so kind and lovely and he was super helpful with delivering my taxi box. He put it in the perfect spot and made it super easy for us to pack it!
Customer service I find to be a bit difficult to communicate with and the lady who always seems to pick up my calls doesn’t seem to understand or maybe listen to what I’m requesting so I find calling head office a bit annoying. I feel that situation could be improved.
But Frank was amazing!
We had a great experience with taxi box. All of our delivery drivers were very helpful and nice. Some of our furniture was a little damaged though (not their fault - we didn’t cover it properly) so make sure you protect your furniture as it moves slightly in the box.
Frank was wonderful. He carefully with precision delivered our tax boxes into our garage area which we thought wasn’t enough of a height clearance. He’s amazing with a forklift. He’s also very friendly and efficient. “Welcome to Melbourne” he said. I did feel welcome.
Steve was a fantastic help. He made a tough process much easier and I could not be more grateful. Taxibox is such a simple and easy arrangement. Loved it!
We moved house using 3 taxiboxes. Organising them was easy, and the service was very reliable. The delivery and pickup drivers were on time and professional.
My only complaint is about the size of these boxes. The fact that you have to do 3-4 of these for each move is the biggest downside.
We moved from QLD to WA and every option we found was double the price of Taxibox. (Even the ones where we drive the truck ourselves!)
The drivers are great, and were even happy to give us an extra 30-60 mins on the move day as things were running late.
Pickup and drop off process is really easy.
Only complaints are the customer service takes forever to answer the phone. I no longer associate the hold music with Beverly Hills Cop or Crazy Frog, I just hear Taxibox now.
Last one was beyond their control but our stuff was held up at the WA border. We were told to just select a date when we’re ready for our stuff. The closest date available was the 30th which we picked, but then were told our boxes couldn’t be delivered till the 4th. This did leave us with having to sleep in an empty house on towels for 6 days without any of our belongings. So keep in mind when you get to your location, your stuff might not have the same timing as you even if the date on the booking section is free.
Overall though I’d recommend them and will be using TaxiBox again for when we move back in a few years.
